SECONDARY BIOLOGICAL PROCESSES
Secondary biological processes are used for biological removal of up to about 90% of the organic matter in wastewater following primary treatment operations. WE can supply suspended growth, attached growth, membrane bioreactors and BAFs, systems for both new and retrofit applications, standalone process or package treatment plants. WE, through our manufacturers, can supply single source point of responsibility backed in many cases with performance bonds to give you the piece of mind to know that your system will perform as designed to meet or exceed your treatment requirements.

ATTACHED GROWTH BIOLOGICAL SYSTEMS
Attached growth biological systems are great for providing additional treatment within tankage of plants that have limited footprint. The concept of operation is providing more surface area for the biology to live and do its job. They are often applied when additional organic load is present and when nutrient removal limits are added to systems. The systems are available as both suspended growth and attached growth systems. WE handle lines of both suspended attached growth systems and fixed bed systems to meet your needs. Suspended attached growth systems use free floating media to move around within basins and in combination of mixers, screens and aeration (depending on application) provide the needed treatment. Fixed Attached growth biological systems are mounted within the basin with air diffusers grids underneath. Please feel free to contact us to discuss the options further for your system.
