Landia DG-I & DGR-I Chopper Pumps

The Landia DG-I chopper pump is an extremely robust, high-efficiency pump engineered for handling heavily contaminated liquids and fluids with high solids content. Its integrated knife system continuously macerates rags, wipes, fibers, and other debris before they enter the impeller, preventing clogging and ensuring reliable operation in conditions where conventional pumps frequently struggle.
Engineered for Maximum UptimeThe DG-I pump features an open, clog-resistant impeller that provides stable performance across a wide range of viscosities. For abrasive environments—such as liquids containing grit, sand, or other wear-intensive solids—Landia offers specially hardened materials that significantly extend component life beyond that of standard pump designs.
For corrosive or chemically aggressive fluids, a large portion of the DG-I range can be supplied in acid-resistant stainless steel (AISI 316).

Proven Wastewater Performance DG-I pumps have become a trusted solution for problem applications in:
  • Municipal pump stations
  • Collections systems with high rag and wipe loading
  • Industrial wastewater streams with fibrous solids
  • Thick, viscous sludge transfer
  • Applications where conventional non-clog pumps fail due to binding or plugging
The knife system and rugged construction allow DG-I pumps to maintain flow where standard pumps can jam, stall, or lose prime.
DGR-I: Stainless Steel for Aggressive Liquids

The Landia DGR-I pump provides the same hydraulic and chopping performance as the DG-I but is constructed entirely of acid-resistant stainless steel for low-pH or chemically aggressive liquids. This makes the DGR-I ideal for industrial processes, corrosive slurries, and other demanding environments.

DG-I / DGR-I Performance Overview
