Ebara DVSU Pumps

The model DVSU, DVSHU submersible pumps are constructed of rugged cast iron suitable for effluent and sewage  applications. The model DVS(H)U has a semi-open vortex impeller suited for pumpage containing abrasive, stringy and/or suspended solids. The model DVSHU can handle hot water applications up to 176°F.

Key Features
  • Air-filled heavy-duty motor, rated for 20 starts/hour – operates cooler with higher efficiencies
  • Built-in motor protection autocut – protects against overheat, out of phase, single phasing and no load
  • 60,000 hour bearings – long dependable operation with lower maintenance costs
  • Semi-open vortex impellers – vortex action prevents clogging and handles stringy materials better in applications where problematic clogging can occur
  • Large solids handling – able to handle abrasive, suspended solids up to 2 1/4″
  • Double mechanical seals – operate in an oil bath away from pumpage providing longer service life and lower maintenance costs
  • Available for slide rail installations – to provide easy maintenance for small sump type installations
